Can I be an asymptomatic carrier of COVID-19 and make others sick after I’ve had the vaccine or been COVID-19 positive in the past?Updated: May 21st, 2021
The honest answer is, we still don’t know for sure. There are many studies currently running to answer this, and we hope to know more before too long.
The CDC has a full page of their recommendations for after you’ve been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. As of 13th May, the CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, MD, announced that “anyone who is fully vaccinated can participate in indoor and outdoor activities, large or small, without wearing a mask or physically distancing”. However, if you feel safer, you can continue to wear masks as you please.
Make sure to follow the rules for your country, and hopefully, between vaccines, distancing and further research, we’ll be back to normal before too long.
