“I got vaccinated and this is how I felt”

I took the Moderna vaccine. I had flu like side effects from the second jab. I feel less anxiety now. My cousin died of Covid 19. Please get the vaccine

Got the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine on April 11. I had a fever later that night and the next day but I feel fine now. I got the vaccine because I am trying my best to keep myself and my family safe from the virus.

The experience of getting my vaccine was emotional. Happy & sad at the same time. Happy to be able to finally feel safe and sad about everyone that has passed. Grateful to be able to have access and to be able to contribute to the fight against covid.

I have had the first dose. Tbh I am in no rush to holiday abroad or to rush to the pub but I would love a coffee with a friend and to be able to spend more time with my grandchildren. I so enjoyed the peace and quiet of the first lockdown and am deeply concerned at that we are just going to head back to the 'way we were' - high traffic volumes and adding to pollution. We have seen how we can improve our environment, it would be great to continue on this path.

I am lucky enough to have received both doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine. I live in London and I’m a 59 year old school teacher. The first dose over 4 weeks ago made me feel totally wiped out the day after but completely fine the next day. The second dose a few days ago had no noticeable side-effects whatsoever. I urge everyone to get a vaccine to protect yourself and those close to you. I don’t know what Covid would do to me and I’d rather not find out.
