Dr. Sylvia Kama-Kieghe says that, according to what we know so far, COVID-19 doesn’t fall into the category of a disease that gives you lifelong immunity, such as measles. We also don’t know how much immunity you get after being infected, or for how long.
Because of this, it’s recommended that you do still get vaccinated to give yourself the best protection possible.
